About me
Simone Holderbach is a Neuroplastic Symptom Recovery Coach (NSRC), Advanced PRT practitioner, and founding member of the ATNS Coaches Advisory Council. Drawing on 15 years of neurology-focused manual therapy experience, she helps clients understand and retrain learned protective patterns, support nervous system regulation, and rebuild trust in their bodies. Her training includes work with leading voices in pain neuroscience and mind-body medicine, including Dr. Howard Schubiner, Prof. Lorimer Moseley, Mark Lumley, Dr. Dan Ratner, Charlie Merrill, and Vanessa Blackstone.
A particular focus of Simone’s work is the role of positive affect in recovery. She explores how connection, play, curiosity, creativity, and joy can support safety learning and become meaningful catalysts for healing. Through her mindbodyJOY ecosystem, she translates positive affect research into practical, trainable skills that people can intentionally practice and strengthen alongside their other recovery work.
Her work brings together Pain Reprocessing Therapy, somatic awareness, and positive neuroplasticity training, with an emphasis on helping people move beyond symptom management toward greater engagement with life.
