Jamie Shafir is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and coach specializing in research and evidence-based cognitive and somatic therapies for neuroplastic symptoms. Drawing upon extensive training in attachment-based and play-centered approaches, she supports young clients through developmentally attuned collaborative care. Jamie earned her Master of Social Work degree from the University of Southern California. Jamie co-authored The Chronic Pain Playbook: An Attachment and Play-Based Clinician's Guide to Working with Children and Adolescents alongside Jessica Holzer, Nurturing Playful Minds co-founder, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and Registered Play Therapist-Supervisor. Nurturing Playful Minds offers online courses on neuroplastic symptoms that include parent tips to foster familial cohesion and relational attunement. Jamie also founded Adolescent Neurobody Psychotherapy, dedicated to providing therapy for adolescents and adults, teen groups, coaching, and consultations for complex neuroplastic cases.
