About me
Jonathan Takahashi, MD, MPH is a Clinical Associate Professor in the Department of Family Medicine and Community Health and the Osher Center for Integrative Health at the University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Medicine and Public Health. He is a graduate of Harvard Medical School and the Harvard School of Public Health, the University of Wisconsin-Madison Family Medicine Residency, and the University of Wisconsin-Madison Academic Integrative Health Fellowship. His work includes patient care, research, and teaching medical students, residents, and fellows. His current clinical work includes primary care family medicine, seeing patients on a referral basis in the UW Health Integrative Health Consult Clinic, and leading Healing Chronic Pain group medical visits (GMVs). He utilizes a patient-centered, Whole Person Health approach, incorporating nutrition, mindfulness, yoga, meditation, Pain Reprocessing Therapy (PRT), Emotional Awareness and Expression Therapy (EAET), Osteopathic Manual Therapy (OMT), movement therapies, and other methods to support healing and recovery for patients with chronic pain and other health conditions.
